In early September, Lebanon's entertainment scene was hit with a few cancellations and relocations of high profile events - Baalbek's International Festival was moved to Beirut, with most high-profile acts cancelling; the longstanding Beirut Jazz Festival was postponed and Beirut's inaugural electronic Creamfields festival was cancelled the day before show time. Both Beirut Jazz Festival and Creamfield's event organizers cited increased security concerns.
